UGC NET Exam 2021

UGC-NET exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) twice in a year on the behalf of University Grant Commission (UGC).
UGC-NET November 2021 is being conducted after a long gap of 17 months.
Last UGC NET exam was held in June 2020 after which Dec 2020 and June 2021 could not be conducted due to Covid-19.
After which it was announced that Dec 2020 and June 2021 exam will be conducted together in 2021.
Now, after couple of postponement of UGC- NET -2021 Exam earlier in August and September 2021, it is finally being conducted from 20th November to 5th December 2021.
UGC NET Admit Card 2021
UGC NET 2021 Admit cards are available on NTA UGC NET official website: https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/.
UGC NET 2021 Admit Card Download Process:
To download UGC NET admit cards you can visit this website and can download it with the link mentioned over there.
There are two ways to download admit cards:
Either you should have your
(a) application number and date of birth
or
(b) application number and password.

UGC NET 2021 Admit Card Availability is Subject wise:
Admit Card is available for the Exam Dates 20, 21,22, 24, 25, 26, 29,30 Nov, 01,03,04,05 Dec. 2021 only. For other exam dates admit cards will be available soon with the progress of the UGC NET exam.

UGC NET2021 Exam Pattern
The examination is conducted as a computer-based test (CBT). There are two papers in NTA-UGC-NET Exam.
Both papers have multiple-choice questions (Objective) without any negative marking.
The duration of the test is 3hrs. Paper 1 is teaching and research aptitude which is general in nature. Total 50 Questions (Total 100Marks) are there in Paper-1.
There are 100 questions with 2 marks each in paper 2. Total marks for paper-2 are 200.
Paper-II is the subject selected by the student.
The exam is conducted in two shifts. The morning shift is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The evening shift is from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
There is no break between paper-1 and paper-2. Both are held in a single stretch of 3hrs.

UGC-NET 2021 EXAM Schedule
Detailed UGC-NET Exam schedule was announced by NTA-UGC-NET on 13th November 2021.
As per NTA notice exam will be held between 20th November 2021 to 5th December 2021.
The examination for 07 NET Subjects i.e.: Bengali, Kannada, Home Science, Hindi, Geography, Sociology and Sanskrit is scheduled to be conducted between 15-23 December, 2021.

Age Limit Relaxation for JRF
The upper age limit has got a relaxation of one year for this session only.
So, for JRF, the age criterion has been revised to 31 years instead of 30 years.
